Over the last 24 hours the Georgian Interior Ministry has registered 1,028 cases of the coronavirus regulations which were introduced on November 26 to curb the spread of Covid-19 across the country.
Police have fined 83 individuals, among whom are individuals who violated the restriction of movement from 9 pm to 5 am.
In addition, 945 individuals were fined for not wearing face masks.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs calls on the citizens to adhere to the imposed restrictions.
Failure to abide by the obligation to wear a face mask in public is punishable by a fine of 20 GEL, while violation of the rules of isolation and quarantine shall result in administrative liability and a fine to the amount of 2,000 GEL for individuals and 10,000 GEL for a legal entity.
