Coronavirus: 1,108 new cases of 23,895 tests in 24 hours

Georgia has reported 1,108 new cases of coronavirus, 714 recoveries and seven deaths in the past 24 hours. 

In total, 23,895 tests have been conducted around the country of which 13,758 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 10,137 were PCR tests. 

The new cases were recorded in: 

  • Tbilisi - 673 cases 
  • Kakheti - 86 cases
  • Imereti - 75 cases
  • Adjara - 74 cases 
  • Kvemo Kartli - 52 cases 
  • Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 48 cases 
  • Shida Kartli - 31 cases 
  • Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 29 cases
  • Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 16 cases
  • Guria - 11 cases 
  • Samtskhe-Javakheti - 13 cases

Currently 11,585 individuals remain infected with Covid-19, of which:

  • 7,364 patients are undergoing treatment at home
  • 3,285 patients - in hospitals 
  • 936 patients - in the clinical-hotels

In addition, 691 patients are in critical condition of which 171 are on artificial ventilation.

As of today 7,993 individuals are in self-isolation and 78 individuals are under quarantine.
