Coronavirus: 1,026 new cases of 33,002 tests in past 24 hours

Georgia has reported 1,026 new cases of Covid-19 after conducting a total of 33,002 tests over the last 24 hours. 

Out of the 1,026 new cases 633 were reported in Tbilisi. 

Other cases were reported in:

  • Imereti -105
  • Kakheti - 81
  • Kvemo Kartli - 52
  • Shida Kartli - 44
  • Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 44
  • Adjara - 38
  • Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 15
  • Samtskhe-Javakheti - 7
  • Guria -5
  • Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 2

Meanwhile, 381 individuals have recovered and 12 patients have died. 

As of now Georgia has confirmed a total of 369,048 cases of Covid-19 since last February, including 353,612 recoveries, 5,347 deaths and 10,063 active cases.

Georgia’s curfew regulations, which have been  in force from 23:00 to 04:00 for seven months, have been lifted in Georgia on July 1.

Wearing a face mask in outdoor spaces is no longer mandatory, while the restriction remains in force in gathering places such as bus stops, in public transport and indoor spaces.
