Georgia has reported eight new cases of the coronavirus earlier today, bringing the total number of cases to 1,455.

As of today, 6 more patients have recovered, reaching the total number of recovered people to 1,196.
Medical Director of Tbilisi Infectious Disease Hospital Marina Ezugbaia said that the that two new patients contracted the virus from contact from infected individuals, three cases were ‘imported’ and all of them are truck drivers and the source of three other cases are yet unknown.
