Georgia's health authorities reported eight new confirmed COVID-19 cases on Saturday, with 108 active cases of infection in the country.
Of the eight new cases, five have been classified as "serious" or "critical". The new figure brings the total number of cases in Georgia, since the start of the pandemic in the spring, to 1018.
The updates also show 895 successful recoveries for patients and 15 fatal outcomes of the virus.
Authorities have also reported 41 citizens transported from abroad for treatment in Georgia.
