Yet another infected individual has died of coronavirus today, bringing the number of mortalities in the country to eight.

Georgia reported 16 new cases of coronavirus increasing the total number of cases to 582 today.
A total of 207 people have recovered since February 26 when the country confirmed the first case of the COVID-19.
However, yet another coronavirus-related mortality has increased the number of deaths to seven.
As of now, some 366 patients infected with COVID-19 remain in hospitals for further treatment.
The Clinical Director at the First Clinic of Tbilisi State Medical University, Lali Turdzeladze, said that the 83-year-old man who died yesterday had underlying chronic diseases.
Georgia has extended the state of emergency until May 22 to prevent the further spread of the coronavirus.
Twenty-one of 25 infected ambulance doctors around the country are from Bolnisi municipality in eastern Georgia, which is inhabited mostly by ethnic minorities.
Georgian Economy Minister Natia Turnava held a presentation today on how the government is planning to help local businesses and especially small and medium-sized businesses reopen and overcome economic difficulties caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
Women look after potato plantation of infected family in Marneuli
Women living in the village of Maradisi in Marneuli municipality of Georgia have teamed up to help their neighbour who has contracted COVID-19 and has been unable to tend her potato plantation this year. Obeying social distancing rules, the women have weeded the plot, in order not to leave the family without a source of income.
Georgian diplomatic representations have given assistance to a total of 18,033 Georgian citizens abroad, while 8,954 of them have been brought to Georgia amid the coronavirus pandemic as of May 1, says the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Georgian citizens will be brought from Vienna, Austria today by special flight to Tbilisi.
