Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia wrote on his twitter account that Georgia-EU relations are stronger than ever.

Gakharia said special thanks to President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission Josep Borrell Fontelles and the European Union Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Oliver Varhelyi.
Georgia has reported four new cases of the coronavirus today, bringing the total number of cases to 420. 107 of the 420 people have recovered, while five others have died.As of today 306 individuals remain infected with COVID-19 inside the country. 5,223 people are under quarantine and 584 others in hospitals. The village of Gvankiti in Terjola municipality of western Georgia has been put in lockdown earlier today as 10 people have tested positive for the virus so far.
The European Commission has adopted a proposal for a COVID-19 support package for Georgia comprised of €150 million to help the country limit the economic fallout of the coronavirus pandemic.
The European Union, Asian Development Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, European Investment Bank, German Development Fund, French Development Agency will support the Georgian economy with $1.5 billion by the end of 2020, announced Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia today.
Georgia will benefit from over €183 million ($198,282,717) of redirected bilateral funds from the European Union in response to the coronavirus outbreak.
