Two killed as bus on Moscow-Tbilisi route turns over

Two individuals have been killed and 15 others injured in a road accident near the Russian Lipetsk district yesterday as a bus on the Moscow-Tbilisi route overturned on a frozen road, the Russian news agency RIA Novosti reports.
Those killed were Georgian citizens, as well as several of the injured, the Georgian news agency Netgazeti said.
Employees from the Georgian Interests Section of the Swiss embassy in Russia have visited the injured, the Georgian Foreign Ministry reports.
Zviad Tatishvili from the Georgian Interests Section has confirmed earlier today that those killed were the citizens of Georgia and the accident took place allegedly because of bad weather.
Five Georgian citizens have been injured in the accident. Three have already been discharged from hospital. The health condition of the remaining two, including a minor, is satisfactory," the Georgian Foreign Ministry stated.
Georgia and Russia have had no diplomatic ties since the Russia-Georgia 2008 war.
Any issues between the two countries are settled via the Swiss embassy.
Defence Minister of France Florence Parly has spoken about the importance of close cooperation between the US and the EU and used Georgia and Ukraine as examples, saying that the repetition of such conflicts will seriously affect both the EU and the United States.
Georgia and Russia were unable to agree on a non-use of force statement at the Geneva International Discussions that would oblige all the members of the Geneva talks not to use force against one another. "Russia showed a destructive attitude and deliberately brought the discussions on the statement to a dead end,” the Georgian ministry reported.
Russia has accused NATO and the United States of creating threats to regional security as they support Georgia upgrade its military capabilities.The Russian Foreign Ministry also reports that concerns regarding the US-built Tbilisi Lugar Lab have not been alleviated.
Several high-ranking guests from Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Ukraine will arrive in Georgia today to participate in events dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the 2008 Russia-Georgia war. Foreign Ministers of Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, vice prime ministers of Ukraine and Estonia will visit Khurvaleti village tomorrow, at the occupation line between Georgia and its occupied Tskhinvali (South Ossetia) region.
