State Security Service: Russian occupation forces carried out illegal flight along occupation line

The Georgian State Security Service reported today that the Russian occupation forces have carried out “an illegal flight along the occupation line in the direction of the occupied Tskhinvali (South Ossetia) region.
This affects the security situation on the ground”, the Security Service stated.
It also noted that the hotline has been activated and the co-chairs of Geneva International Discussions (GID), as well as the European Union Monitoring Mission (EUMM) have been informed.
The Security Service also reported that the recent developments in the village of Chorchana in Khashuri Municipality on Tbilisi-controlled area, close to occupied Tskhinvali, will be discussed at the upcoming 49th round of the GID in early October.
The Georgian State Security Service writes in its 2018 report that Russian forces tried to use the two occupied regions of Abkhazia and Tskhinvali (South Ossetia) to conduct clandestine, illegal operations.
Russia is conducting military exercises in Georgia’s occupied Abkhazia and Tskhinvali regions, Russian media outlets report.
The de facto government of Georgia’s Russian-occupied Tskhinvali region is clearing a road to a new ‘police checkpoint’ in the village of Tsnelisi, Kareli municipality of Georgia, at an altitude of 944 meters.
Russian occupation forces have appeared near the village of Chorchana, Khashuri Municipality today. The village is located in the vicinity of the Russia - occupied Tskhinvali (South Ossetia) region. The State Security Service of Georgia reports that military equipment of the occupation forces has been detected moving in the area.
The Georgian State Security Service has denied illegal “borderisation” in the village of Kobi in Khashuri Municipality near occupied Tskhinvali (South Ossetia) region. However, it said, Russian occupation forces continue provocative activities along the villages of Chorchana and Tsagveli.
Georgian law enforcers have detained nine Turkish citizens who entered Georgia illegally, and confiscated four firearms from their temporary residence.
