Dinner in the Sky Georgia, a suspended fine dining restaurant, will be opened near Georgia’s capital of Tbilisi on May 15, bringing one of the world’s most unique dining experience in Georgia.
Dinner in the Sky LLC will invest $5 million in the new restaurant which will be opened in the Kojori recreation zone on the territory of the Bioli Medical Wellness Resort.
Up in the sky, the restaurant will offer a number of sessions, including Tbilisi Daylight (wine tasting at 5 pm for 199 GEL per person), Tbilisi Twilight (dinner at 7 pm for 325 GEL per person) and Tbilisi City Light (dinner at 9 pm for 325 GEL per person).
Dinner in the Sky Georgia will offer Georgian cuisine.
The Sky platform is suspended by a crane 50 meters high in the sky of Tbilisi, while you indulge in unique scenery and luxurious dining.
The flying fine dining restaurant, a seven tonne platform elevated to the altitude of 50 meters by a 120 tonne crane, will offer a 360 degree view of the Tbilisi skyline.
Dinner in the Sky Georgia will provide seats for 22 persons in each flight.
The restaurant is already available in 70 countries and now in Georgia. After opening up in Tbilisi the restaurant will also be opened in the country’s Black Sea Resort Town of Batumi in 2020.
The restaurant is seasonal and will operate only during spring and summer.

American restaurant and hospitality consulting firm af&co has named Georgian food as the cuisine of the year and Georgian cheese-filled bread, khachapuri, as the dish of the year in the 2019 Hospitality Trends Report.
Georgia’s national dishes have been showcased for the first time at Sirha 2019, an international hospitality and food service exhibition in Lyon, France.
Leading Georgian food and beverage purveyors have showcased some of the country’s greatest traditional products to specialty international food manufacturers and buyers at a prestigious food trade show in New York.
