Georgian Defence Minister Juansher Burchuladze on Tuesday said Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili’s remarks at the Global Security Forum in Bratislava earlier during the day had focused on the Georgian public’s "unity" around the process of the country receiving the European Union membership candidate status.
Burchuladze called the PM's comments - at a panel discussion of the event - “once again a standout" among speakers.

“One of the significant issues that he focused on, and that I would also like to mention, is that in the process of receiving the [EU membership] candidate status, the public should be united and our opinions cannot be divided”, Burchuladze said.
