Western Georgia’s Kutaisi International Airport recorded its record-high passenger flow last month, with 111,556 travellers passing through it throughout August, the Director of the United Airports of Georgia said on Tuesday.
The figure marked a 27 percent increase compared to the same period of 2019, Tamar Archuadze added.
Archuadze also said the number of flights at the airport had increased in August by 64 percent (450 flights) compared to 2019 (274 flights).
Six airline companies are operating flights between 28 destinations from the airport.
