COVID-19 in Georgia: 602 new cases, 569 recoveries, 11 deaths

Georgia has reported 602 new cases of COVID-19 after conducting a total of 18,335 tests (7,744 PCR tests and 10,591 rapid tests) over the last 24 hours.
Out of the 602 new cases 246 were reported in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi.
Other cases were reported in:

- Guria - 30
- Shida Kartli - 21
- Kvemo Kartli - 16
- Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 10

- Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 7
Meanwhile, 569 people have recovered, 11 others have died, while 5,510 individuals remain infected with the coronavirus in Georgia.
As of now the country has confirmed a total of 261,620 cases of COVID-19, including 252,815 recoveries and 3,269 deaths.

All public transport around the country as well as open markets will resume operations starting February 8, while from February 15 all food facilities, including restaurants will be able to provide their service only in open areas.
Georgia has reported 538 new cases of coronavirus, 498 recoveries and 18 deaths in the past 24 hours. 5,488 individuals remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia as of today. 16,808 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours around the country.9,163 of the 16,808 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 7,645 were PCR tests. Georgia has had 261,018 cases of coronavirus since February 2020. 252,246 of the 261,018 individuals have recovered, while 3,258 others have died.
Organisations that violate Covid-19 restrictions in Georgia will no longer be eligible to receive support from state programmes and will not receive state subsidies, announced Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia at today's government meeting.
Tbilisi City Hall will fund higher education fees for an additional 1,000 students from poor families who live in the capital city, Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze stated earlier today.
About 200 restaurants in Georgia plan to resume operations on Saturday, February 6 despite the Covid-19 restrictions, announces the chairman of the Restaurant Association, Shota Burjanadze. He said that the decision was made today and additional details will be announced tomorrow.
Georgia has reported a total of 404 new cases of coronavirus after conducting 6,321 PCR tests and 7,252 rapid tests over the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, 799 people have recovered and 14 others have died. As of now there are 5,101 active cases of the coronavirus in Georgia.
