Vaccinated individuals can receive a certification of their status for the purpose of traveling abroad at the medical institution where they received their jab, the Georgian Health Ministry stated today.

The Covid-19 vaccine certificate includes the following information:

  • Personal data of the vaccinated individual: name, surname, personal number, date of birth
  • Vaccine details: dose, manufacturer, date
  • Name of the medical institution which administered the vaccine
  • Information on the results of Covid-19 testing and the research laboratory (if any).

The National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) will also issue a certificate of vaccination for Covid-19.

At the request of the receiving country, this certificate can be verified by an apostille from the Public Service Development Agency.

The Health Ministry also stated that the apostille procedure is a temporary measure until European countries accept Georgian Covid passports with QR codes.
