Coronavirus: Georgia reports 110 new cases, 1,643 recoveries, 25 deaths

Georgia has reported 110 new cases of coronavirus, 1,643 recoveries and 25 deaths in the past 24 hours. 

10,295 individuals remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia as of today. 

4,964 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours around the country due to the weekend.

2,930 of the 4,964 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 2,034 were PCR tests. 

Georgia has had 247,915 cases of coronavirus since February 2020. 

234,636 of the 247,915  individuals have recovered, while 2,958 others have died.

The new 110 cases were recorded in: 

  • Tbilisi - 72 cases 
  • Adjara - 13 cases 
  • Imereti - 5 cases 
  • Kvemo Kartli - 4 cases 
  • Shida Kartli - 0 case 
  • Guria - 5 cases 
  • Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 4 cases 
  • Kakheti - 5 cases 
  • Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 0 case 
  • Samtskhe-Javakheti - 2 cases 
  • Racha-Lechkhumi, Kvemo Svaneti - 0 case

3,670 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today. 795 of the 3,670 patients are in critical condition. 234 of the 795 critical patients are on artificial ventilation. 

634 Covid-19 patients are in hotels, 460 individuals are in quarantine and 5,991 are at home.

22,714 individuals are in self-isolation.

More than 2, 033,000 tests have been conducted in Georgia so far.
