A total of 2,720 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported over the last 24 hours in Georgia after conducting 6,821 PCR and 6,628 rapid tests.
Meanwhile, 3,942 individuals have recovered, outnumbering the new cases, while 46 others have died.
Out of the 2,720 new cases 1,240 were reported in Tbilisi.

As of now, the number of total confirmed cases in Georgia stands at 189,726, including 158,183 recoveries and 1,790 deaths; 29,727 individuals remain infected with the virus.
Georgian police have meanwhile reported 867 new cases of coronavirus-related violations throughout the country.

In Da House underground night club in Tbilisi was again fined with 10,000 GEL yesterday for repeated violation of quarantine restrictions.
The Georgian Interior Ministry reported that In Da House was carrying out ‘prohibited economic activities’ with citizens staying there even after the curfew.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs calls on the citizens to adhere to the imposed restrictions.
Failure to abide by the obligation to wear a face mask in public is punishable by a fine of 20 GEL, while violation of the rules of isolation and quarantine shall result in administrative liability and a fine to the amount of 2,000 GEL for individuals and 10,000 GEL for a legal entity.
