Coronavirus: recoveries continue to outnumber new cases in Georgia

Recoveries have outnumbered new cases of coronavirus in Georgia in the past two days.
The country has reported 3,157 new cases of coronavirus, 3,230 recoveries and 30 deaths in the past 24 hours.
16,785 individuals remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia as of today.
The new 3,157 cases were recorded in:
- Tbilisi - 1,249 cases
- Adjara - 516 cases
- Imereti - 477 cases
- Kvemo Kartli - 178 cases
- Shida Kartli - 181 cases
- Guria - 82 cases
- Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 212 cases
- Kakheti - 70 cases
- Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 121 cases
- Samtskhe-Javakheti - 60 cases
- Racha-Lechkhumi, Kvemo Svaneti - 11 cases

Georgia has had 82,835 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020.
Since then 65,291 individuals have recovered, while 733 others have died.
5,658 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today. 787 of the 5,658 patients are in critical condition. 363 of the 787 critical patients are on artificial ventilation.
3,315 Covid-19 patients are in hotels, 2,735 individuals are in quarantine and 7,812 are at home.
50.256 individuals are in self-isolation.
More than 1,012,160 individuals have been tested for coronavirus in Georgia so far.
A 68-year-old doctor has died of coronavirus in the Russia-occupied Akhalgori district. Onise Gatenashvili was a surgeon at the Akhalgori hospital. His family requested he be sent to Tbilisi for treatment when he tested positive for COVID-19.
Galina Zakradze, 102, is one of the 62,061 individuals who have recovered from coronavirus in Georgia. Thanking the health workers of Kutaisi Infectious Disease hospital for their care, Galina Zakradze received a lot of applause while leaving the hospital upon recovery.
Georgia has reported 3,020 new cases of coronavirus, 3,387 recoveries and 34 deaths over the last 24 hours. As of now, a total of 79,678 cases have been confirmed in Georgia since late-February, including 62,061 recoveries and 703 deaths.
Several Georgian NGOs have released a statement claiming that the imposition of curfew in seven large cities in Georgia including the capital of Tbilisi starting November 9 is unconstitutional.
Head of Georgia’s National Centre for Disease Control Amiran Gamkrelidze says that the government is likely to impose further restrictions to curb the increase in new infections of coronavirus, adding that there are no plans to declare a complete lockdown. Gamkrelidze stated earlier today that the government is expected to inform the public about new restrictions in the coming days. He stated that along with new restrictions the enforcement of existing ones ‘is of high importance.’
Georgia has had 85,952 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020.Since then 68,929 individuals have recovered, while 778 others have died.
The Head of Infectious Diseases and AIDS Centre Tengiz Tsertsvadze has tested positive for coronavirus.
Georgia's Saknakhshiri coal mining company has suspended its activities for two weeks due to the infection rate of its employees with Covid-19, announces the company. Saknakhshiri announces that a PCR test revealed 144 employees had coronavirus.
