Georgia has reported a ninth coronavirus-related death today.
A 58-year-old woman with several underlying conditions has passed away from coronavirus infection at First University Clinic in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi earlier today.
Meanwhile, six more individuals have recovered since morning, increasing the total recoveries to 221.
As of now, Georgia has confirmed a total of 589 coronavirus cases, including 221 recoveries and nine deaths.

Meanwhile, Georgian police fined 103 people for violating the state of emergency regulations and curfew during the last 24 hours throughout the country.

Georgian diplomatic representations have assisted a total of 18,306 Georgian citizens abroad; 9,396 individuals were brought to Georgia amid the coronavirus pandemic as well.
Georgia has already carried out special flights to evacuate its citizens from other cities including Berlin, Vienna, London, Athens, Amsterdam, Larnaca, Beijing, Rome, Paris, Tel Aviv, Barcelona, Madrid, Copenhagen, Warsaw and Prague.
