The Georgian Interior Ministry and OSCE Human Rights Office (ODIHR) have signed a deal to create a training programme for crime investigators that deal with cases involving discrimination.

The deal was signed within the framework of an ongoing systemic update to provide an efficient response to crimes motivated by hatred.

The special training programme will be developed through close cooperation with the OSCE Democratic Institutions and Human Rights Office.

The training programme will begin in April and help the ministry ensure a rapid response and effective investigation of hatred-motivated crimes.
