Georgian PM Giorgi Gakharia has met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Kyiv, with the heads of states of Organization for Democracy and Economic Development (GUAM).
Zelensky hosted the heads of states of GUAM countries - Azerbaijan, Georgia and Moldova - in the presidential palace earlier today.
Tomorrow Zelemsky and Gakharia will meet face to face,” the administration of the government of Georgia reports.
Gakharia has also met with Ukrainian PM Oleksiy Goncharuk, Parliamentary Speaker Dmytro Razumkov.

It is the first official visit of Gakharia to Ukraine as the Georgian PM.
The visit will last two days, the Government of Georgia press office reports.
GUAM is an international regional organization which includes Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.
Several documents are scheduled to be signed during the GUAM meeting, the Government of Georgia press office reports.
The Ukrainian government has imposed sanctions on the de facto officials of Georgia’s two occupied regions of Abkhazia and Tskhinvali, who visited the country’s rebel-controlled Donetsk and Luhansk regions in eastern Ukraine in November 2018 to observe the so-called leadership elections.
Georgia and Ukraine have agreed to make it possible for their citizens to travel between the two countries without a passport, only with a national ID card starting from March 1. 2019, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has reported.

Georgia and Ukraine have today introduced amendments to the free trade agreement, which will allow the two countries to use identical rules of origin of goods in bilateral trade and apply the clauses of the Regional Convention on pan-Euro-Mediterranean preferential rules of origin.
