Georgian Interior Ministry Academy hosts Association of European Police Colleges’ conference on artificial intelligence in police education

The Association of European Police Colleges’ annual international conference on artificial intelligence in police education is being hosted at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, the national body said on Tuesday.

The event, featuring representatives of leading police educational institutions of 26 European states, was opened by Deputy Interior Minister Aleksandre Darakhvelidze and Gela Geladze, the Deputy Minister of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia.

The Ministry said representatives of police education institutions of Germany, Italy, Ukraine, Israel, Hungary, Switzerland and Czechia shared their experience of innovative approaches applied in police training at the event.

Participants are also scheduled to discuss future activities to enhance cooperation in police education, while a meeting of governing board members is also scheduled to elect a new President and Vice-President of the Association before the conference concludes on Wednesday.
