The advanced fire engines, equipped with the latest technical features, are intended for combating forest fires and will be distributed across various regions of the country, the agency said.
Teimuraz Mgebrishvili, the head of the EMS, personally visited the Magirus factory in Ulm, Germany, to assess the capabilities of the new equipment.
Iveco Magirus, a renowned global manufacturer of high-quality fire trucks and firefighting equipment, supplies vehicles used for emergency response worldwide.
The EMS emphasised its commitment to renewing its fleet of fire and rescue vehicles, with additional projects planned to enhance emergency response through equipment and hardware upgrades.
