Blind and visually impaired students from four to six grades will have audio textbooks for the first time, says the Ministry of Education, noting that this will give them the opportunity to gain full education even in the conditions of the pandemic.
Audio books will be available on the website of the ministry.
Converting books to audio versions was carried out by the Educational and Scientific Infrastructure Development Agency (ESIDA).
The textbooks will be converted to audio format gradually, says the ministry.
The Education Ministry has already provided blind and visually impaired students with brail textbooks.
