New Isuzu eight-meter length buses will appear this year in Tbilisi, Mayor Kakha Kaladze said at the Tbilisi government session today.
He said the new 220 buses will be equipped with modern systems such as heating, air conditioning, ventilation, USB ports and Wi-Fi.
Kaladze said the new buses will replace the old yellow ones that ‘represent a serious problem and discomfort for passengers and pollute the air.’
Shortly we will also present 10-meter buses that will serve the Tbilisi population,” Kaladze also added.

He said the buses consume Euro 6 Diesel and will abide by the standards set by European cities.
Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze stated that the diesel quality in Georgia should increase to Euro 5 standard and the decision will be made with the central government.
As we plan to present the buses consuming Euro 6 Diesel, we should be all prepared,” Kaladze said.
He added that the Georgian government will supervise fuel quality.
