National Geographic Traveler highlights Georgia's gastro-tourism potential

The German edition of the National Geographic Traveler magazine has highlighted Georgia's gastro-tourism potential in an extensive article, The Georgian National Tourism Administration said on Wednesday.

Werner Siefer from the publication travelled to Georgia on a press tour organised by the national agency to learn about the country’s cuisine and wine.

The article describes Georgia’s family cellars, long history of winemaking and historical German settlements in the country.

Siefer also pointed out continuity of studying Georgian wine, saying it had spread across the world from the Caucasus.
