FM highlights “timely, interesting, productive” meeting of Georgian, Hungarian PMs

Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili on Thursday highlighted the “timely, interesting and productive” meeting of Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze and his Hungarian counterpart Viktor Orbán earlier today.

In his comments to the media in Budapest, Darchiashvili said “Hungary was, is and will be” an amicable country for Georgia, emphasising “very active, friendly and result-oriented cooperation” between the two states.

The FM called Hungary “a strong supporter” of Georgia’s European integration, and noted that Kobakhidze and Orbán had discussed issues related to the country’s European future, as well as prospects of cooperation and the existing challenges in the world.

Georgian and Hungarian PMs discussed “friendly relations” between the two states at the meeting earlier today, held on the sidelines of an annual event the Conservative Political Action Conference, hosted in Budapest this year.
