Georgia’s Nodar Dumbadze Professional State Youth Theatre will feature in the Craiova International Shakespeare Festival in Romania on May 17-18, with the production of Othello, a tragedy written by English writer William Shakespeare.
A unique blend of puppetry and live actors, designed to captivate and engage adult and young audiences. [...] the actors discover the captivating potential of using puppets and objects as a means to convey the depth and metaphorical essence of the play”, the festival wrote about the Georgian production on Wednesday.

The Othello by Georgian Youth Theatre received the award for Best Director at the 30th Cairo International Festival for Experimental Theatre.
