The Russian occupation regime has banned movement from Georgia’s occupied Abkhazia region to Tbilisi-controlled territory on October 2, reports the Georgian State Security Service (SSS).

An official statement of the SSS reads that movement is banned for all individuals except those in need of medical assistance.

Such illegal decisions are often linked to security reasons invented by the occupation regime, including the ongoing municipal elections on the central government-controlled territory”, reads the statement.
