Today the Mayor of Tbilisi Kakha kaladze introduced a new project which aims to encourage the younger generation to fulfil their business ideas.
The objective of the project is to support the creation of new businesses in Georgia and help the younger generation carry out their plans.
The project gives an equal opportunity to everybody. Anyone is able to register and present the project with their potential business partners.
EU allocates 500,000 euros in the project along with Tbilisi City Hall donating funds as well.
The project is a part of an international initiative, titled Mayors for Economic Growth. The goal is to encourage talented young people and we are ready to share our experience", stated Karl Hartzell, the ambassador of EU in Georgia.
The Mayors for Economic Growth initiative supports cities in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine to facilitate growth and job creation by improving the local business environment, stimulating entrepreneurship and attracting investment for sustainable economic development.

Tbilisi City Hall organised Tbilisi Market, where entrepreneurs showcased their productions in order to sell it. Approximately 50 producers participated in the market.
The project will stimulate the creation of local partnerships and networks based on public-private dialogue in order to implement actions to promote growth, development and jobs.
