Hololei held his first visit with the Director-General of United Airports of Georgia Giorgi Chogovadze.
Hololei and Chogovadze talked about how to increase the capacity of Georgian airports and attract new airline companies.
Last year was successful for Georgia in terms of aviation development. Passenger flow has increased significantly at the country’s airports. Tbilisi Airport is developing. Work is being carried out to expand Kutaisi airports. We talked about how to attract new airline companies … which will help attract more tourists in Georgia”, said Hololei.
“Airports play a key role in developing #connectivity. United Airports of #Georgia should be praised for the growth in passenger traffic in 2018, thanks to #aviation agreement with #EU & market liberalisation.
