Police have arrested one individual for bribe taking several days ago.
The detainee was charged with bribe taking after he promised another individual to help him ‘cancel a debt’owed to the state treasury in exchange for 30,000 GEL ($10,544/€9,401).
The detainee received 10,000 lari from the individual, after which police arrested him.
The detainee faces from six to nine years in jail.
Earlier in April, four were accused of fraud including the misappropriation of state property, negligence and falsification of documents.
Officers of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the State Security Service of Georgia have arrested an individual, identified only as Beka Kh for giving a bribe.
